Are Chlorax. Tablets Bad For The Toilet

carta : gr. 1672
plastica : gr. 531
metal : gr. 22
glass : gr. 3503
TOTAL: gr. 5728, of which gr. 490 landfill, gr. 5238 recycling (hopefully!).
Missing ' wet, that the 6 / 2 I gave to collectors on staff two times, most recently, Sunday 20 / 2, for a total of gr. 6500
Some thoughts:
  • the plastic weighs less, but it is much and everywhere, especially the lightweight packaging (plastic bottles can be more easily reduced, this time it I throw only two): I try to avoid it as much as possible, but extremely difficult.
  • the glass is heavy, but hopefully more easily recyclable, which is why I tend to prefer it when I can, other packaging. In Rome, however, there is the problem of multi-material containers , where the glass breaks and mixes with the plastic, with rates reduced accordingly diffferenziata collection and recycling: possible that over many years has not addressed the problem?
  • the paper is heavy but, I think, preferable to plastic for packaging (I so rule).
  • 's is wet the largest percentage of household waste (and we know also the most dangerous and difficult to manage as waste): Why is not the priority of all the municipalities and the national parliament in terms of collection and disposal of waste?
  • 's undifferentiated can be drastically reduced really careful with behavior, but it is also necessary that the cycle of waste is efficient, and that really you recycle what you do not end up in landfills. For me, however, are quite satisfied, because I threw my bag after 18 days from the previous year, and I could still wait. This means that, if the system was well organized and worked, you could save on collection frequency indifferentiation investing efficiency of the system as a whole.
Soon other reflections on ... bins.
