Where Do You Get The Gunpowder In Poptropica

Più bidelli e meno Gelmini (dal Fatto Quotidiano)

From the blog of Paul Ojetti Done Daily: More caretakers and less Gelmini
More caretakers and less Gelmini
Fabio Fazio, from that gentleman who is left out unscathed from the studies of Weather which the minister Gelmini Mariastella . Yet, to paraphrase the Hungarian writer Frigyes Karinthy, author of Journey around my skull, it would be a trip around the skull of our Minister of Education. She complains that in Italy "There are more caretakers that police" and that " teachers are underpaid because surplus ". Perhaps the minister has not been realized to have implicitly called for an Italy with fewer schools and more criminals when - Brechtian talking about - any sensible person would wish otherwise.
Secondly, it is demonstrated that the minister hates school that should really defend and love. The "teachers", the "teachers" should never, not even hypothetically, in excess. The public school is not a 'company that must produce a cost tot tot tot and revenues. The school is a "service" a cornerstone of democracy, a mission that helped to train elites, spreading culture, open minds to tolerance, to help the advancement of civil life, providing food to new ideas, understand the history, retain memory. For all this, teachers are always few . And never paid enough.
adds, Girolamo De Michele, School is all , Minimum Fax, 2010 , ch. 4, par. 2, pp.187-195, which in Italy the janitors are fewer of the carabinieri (police 110.000/112.000 against 118,000, while the number of 167,000 referred to the janitors, often repeated by the Minister, is the overall school employees), their number, for public school site (school building) is 2.5 per school janitors (compared to an average of 25 Carabinieri barracks probably adequate, given the constant drop in crime from 1992 to 2006), many schools have to resort to cleaning companies just because the number of caretakers is insufficient. I quote from the text of De Michele (must-read!): ... The
school employees, which in 2008/2009 was 167,123 were 187,787 in 2002/03, with a loss of 20,000 jobs (more marked al Sud, per inciso): non solo meno bidelli, ma meno segretari, meno tecnici, ecc.
